More Information

The Japanese paper standard is defined by the Japanese Industrial Standards, or JIS for short. This standard is commonly used in Taiwan and China too and is loosely related to the A standard. Although larger than the A standard, this paper has some of the same properties.

Japanese printers commonly use paper provided by this standard for their printing.
